About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using

  Python

  and

  FastAPI

• Integrate and work with PostgreSQL

  databases efficiently
• Implement and optimize

  Whisper AI

  models for speech recognition or transcription use cases
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality software
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable software
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in

  Python

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI

  framework
• Proficiency in

  PostgreSQL

  (queries, indexing, optimization)
• Working knowledge of

  Whisper AI

  (OpenAI models or equivalent)
• Good understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker or cloud deployment (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (async/await)
