Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Back End Engineer with expertise in Python FastAPI and AWS cloud services to join our engineering team This role focuses on building and deploying robust APIs and MCP Microservice Control Plane server components leveraging modern containerization and cloud native technologiesKey ResponsibilitiesAPI DevelopmentDesign develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Pydantic for data validation and serializationImplement scalable service layer logic for microservices and backend systemsMCP Server EngineeringBuild and optimize MCP server components to manage microservice orchestration and communicationEnsure high performance reliability and security of service layer interactionsCloud DeploymentDeploy and manage services on AWS using Lambda API Gateway and ECSIntegrate cloud native patterns for scalability fault tolerance and cost efficiencyContainerizationPackage applications using Docker or Podman for consistent deployment across environmentsMaintain container lifecycle image versioning and secure configurationsCollaboration DevOpsWork closely with front end developers DevOps and product teams to deliver end to end solutionsParticipate in code reviews architecture discussions and agile ceremonies

Required Skills Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI and PydanticSolid understanding of RESTful API design versioning and documentationHands on experience with AWS services Lambda API Gateway ECS Fargate or EC2 backedExperience with Docker or Podman for containerization and deploymentFamiliarity with CI CD pipelines and Git based workflowsKnowledge of microservices architecture and service orchestration patternsExcellent problem solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with asynchronous programming in Python eg asyncio aiohttpFamiliarity with infrastructure as code Terraform AWS CDKExposure to monitoring and logging tools CloudWatch Prometheus GrafanaUnderstanding of security best practices for APIs and cloud deploymentsBachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
