Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Developer with 4 to 9 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Amazon RDS AWS Glue AWS DevOps and other AWS technologies. This role involves working with big data and requires proficiency in Python and Apache Spark. Experience in regulatory and process control is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable data processing systems using Amazon RDS AWS Glue and AWS DevOps to ensure efficient data management and processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
Utilize Amazon Redshift and AWS EMR to perform complex data analysis and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Implement and manage data storage solutions using Amazon S3 ensuring data integrity and accessibility for various stakeholders.
Leverage Apache Spark and Python to develop and optimize data processing pipelines improving data flow and reducing processing time.
Monitor and troubleshoot data processing systems to ensure high availability and performance addressing any issues promptly.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and AWS technologies to continuously improve data solutions and processes.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
Document technical specifications and processes facilitating knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and domain knowledge.
Contribute to the companys mission by delivering high-quality data solutions that support business growth and societal impact.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with Amazon RDS AWS Glue AWS DevOps and other AWS technologies is required.
Proficiency in Python and Apache Spark for data processing and analysis is essential.
Experience with big data technologies and frameworks is necessary.
Familiarity with Amazon Redshift AWS EMR and Amazon S3 is required.
Knowledge of regulatory and process control domains is a nice to have.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment are crucial.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Big Data Specialty preferred.
