Purchase Specialist

As a Source Vendor Specialist, your main responsibility is to adhere to the Procurement Strategy by sourcing vendors as per the defined guidelines. Your role will play a crucial part in reducing delivery times, achieving cost savings, enhancing quality, and managing relationships with suppliers effectively. - Evaluate vendors both technically and commercially to ensure they meet the required standards. - Timely development of commodities to meet the organization's needs by exploring new vendor opportunities and strengthening existing supplier relationships. - Collate purchase orders and requisitions, interact with suppliers regularly, review and track deliveries, and coordinate shipments for timely receipt of materials. - Confirm, modify, and track orders with suppliers, as well as resolve any discrepancies during the delivery process. - Expedite orders, prepare purchase requisitions, and process purchase orders for equipment and supplies. - Maintain clear communication channels between suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth procurement operations. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in vendor sourcing and procurement. - Strong technical and commercial evaluation skills. - Ability to travel across PAN India and abroad for vendor exploration. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in purchase order processing and tracking. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.,
