Purchase Specialist

As a Procurement Officer, your role involves understanding manufacturing processes and materials used in manufacturing. You will be responsible for researching and evaluating vendors to compare pricing and services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Selecting and negotiating contracts with vendors for prices and timelines - Managing supplier relations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders - Maintaining the supplier database, creating new vendors, purchase records, and related documentation - Evaluating vendors based on product quality, timeliness, and price - Handling PR/PO processes, documentation, and ensuring stronger follow-up with suppliers/vendors - Ensuring the quality of procured items and addressing problems promptly - Conducting on-site assessments at vendor locations as required To qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electric, DME, DEE Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or a related field - 2-4 years of experience at least - Good communication and negotiation skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Market research skills for obtaining the best prices If you meet the qualifications and have the required skills, the salary for this full-time, permanent position ranges from 15,000.00 to 22,000.00 per month.
