**Role Overview:** At Blue Star Engineering and Electronics Limited, we are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Territory Service Manager to join our team. As a Territory Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing vendor relationships, driving cost savings, overseeing purchasing strategies, supporting projects, and monitoring market trends. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring timely material delivery, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Vendor Management:** Develop and maintain a strong vendor base, explore new supply sources, and manage the Project Approved Vendor List. Design and implement vendor evaluation, assessment, and onboarding processes. - **Cost Management & Savings:** Drive cost savings over baseline budgets, support technical teams with pricing and material availability, and establish cost and budgeting principles for effective price variation management. - **Purchasing & Procurement Strategy:** Formulate and implement purchasing strategies for projects of all sizes, approve high-value purchase orders, expedite materials and equipment, and manage inventory to ensure adequate resources for all projects. - **Project Support & Billing:** Ensure timely material delivery, support billing plans achievement, review project billings with Sales and Service heads, and resolve vendor issues across regions. - **Market Monitoring & Process Improvement:** Monitor market conditions, track price and delivery trends, research new materials for cost and design improvements, and implement strategies for ongoing cost reduction and process simplification. **Qualifications Required:** - **Educational Background:** Graduate Mechanical / Electrical Engineer - **Experience:** Proven track record of 4-8 years in Procurement and Purchase activities - **Technical Acumen:** Deep technical understanding to analyze complex systems and interpret specifications - **Problem Solver:** Thrive on identifying challenges and implementing practical solutions for project efficiency - **Industry Insights:** Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies for strategic decision-making and maintaining a competitive edge - **Effective Communication:** Excel at conveying ideas clearly, collaborating across teams, and building strong relationships **Additional Details:** This role is based in Mumbai, India, with involvement in traveling across offices in the West region.
