Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for Services, Packaging & Transformation Products Purchasing
PR allocation among team & periodic review of PR-PO conversion.
Planning /preparing Strategy for major contract renewals.
Cost reduction & savings: Conducting strategic negotiation with the vendors to obtain the optimum price
Driving strategic initiative like working capital reduction, Volume discount & frame work agreements.
Ensuring the usage of E/Digital tools (RFQ & Reverse auction)
Vendor management, Adherence to SG Purchase guidelines and SG COC.
New vendor development to ensure cost reduction / induction of new technology.
Ensuring the implementation of responsible purchasing activities
Ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Updating of Strategic documents periodically and cover major spend under contracting.
Building relationships with existing / New vendors.
Suppliers visits and understand their cost structure and markets.
Coordinating with internal stake holders to support in creating collaborating work environment.
Coordination with other units for necessary knowledge transfer and executing activities as per requirement of operations.
Team management and supporting in team development and their training and career growth.
