Purchase Manager

As a Purchase Manager specializing in Pharma & Generic Products, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement process within the pharmaceutical sector. With a minimum of 8 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, particularly in digital pharmacy or health-tech platforms like SastaSundar, Tata 1MG, Netmeds, you will lead the end-to-end procurement of branded, generic, and OTC pharmaceutical products. Your responsibilities will include identifying and onboarding new suppliers to enhance product assortment, collaborating with marketing and product teams for successful product launches, monitoring purchase budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Utilizing your strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, you will be instrumental in optimizing inventory costs, analyzing purchase data, and developing demand forecasts based on market trends. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to streamline purchase processes and identify opportunities for business growth. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools will be essential, along with a solid understanding of the pharma supply chain, generic products, and market dynamics. With a background in Pharmacy, Commerce, or Business at the graduate level, along with an MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, you will have the opportunity to shape purchasing strategy in a dynamic market.
