Purchase Manager / Purchase In-Charge

• We are looking for a Purchase Manager Purchase In-Charge to join our team and oversee the procurement and vendor management activities.
• The ideal candidate will ensure smooth supply of raw materials, packaging materials, and other purchase requirements in alignment with the companys standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other requirements.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Develop and monitor vendor performance metrics (quality, pricing, lead time).

Procurement Planning & Execution

• Manage and execute daily purchase requirements using the companys procurement software.
• Forecast and plan raw material and packaging needs in coordination with production and inventory teams.
• Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary goals.

Cost & Quality Control

• Negotiate pricing and payment terms while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
• Ensure compliance with companys responsible sourcing policies.

Process & Documentation

• Oversee purchase order creation, approvals, and timely order placements.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits, vendor records, and compliance.
• Regularly update and analyze purchase data on the software system.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Production, Inventory, and Accounts teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Address purchase-related issues proactively to avoid production delays.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate degree (preferred: Supply Chain Commerce Business Management).
• 3-7 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in using purchase/procurement software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
