Purchase Manager

As the Head of Purchase for a Jewellery company, your role involves sourcing equipment, goods, and jewellery items from vendors or contractors. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring a team to support daily operational requirements and conducting strategic procurement activities in a multi-faceted environment. Your main functions will include: - Developing and leading strategies for purchasing jewellery and necessary items - Tracking and recording key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness - Partnering with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and documentation - Determining quantity and timing of deliveries - Monitoring and forecasting upcoming levels of demand Additionally, you will be responsible for: - Crafting negotiation practices and strategies to close deals with optimal terms - Seeking and partnering with reliable vendors and suppliers - Handling and resolving substantial issues - Forecasting sales strategy based on customer flow and season - Forecasting market trends and stock levels - Managing office stock levels to avoid lead items on special products - Ensuring the purchasing team completes the process on time and according to priority You will also be involved in contract management, purchasing quality assurance, managing the procurement team, and diamond manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include maintaining records, preparing requisitions and purchase orders, resolving grievances, ensuring quality checking, and submitting reports to the management regularly. Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned to you according to business needs must also be fulfilled. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and work location in person.,
