Purchase Manager-Electrical- Rural Electrification Project

Job description Develop and implement procurement strategies for engineering materials and equipment.

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable domestic and international suppliers.
• Ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Handle financial terms, Letter of Credit (LC), and Inco terms for procurement transactions of international and Domestic.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment conditions with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements in procurement.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Develop negotiation strategies to achieve the best pricing and contract terms.
• Analyze market trends and sourcing opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and legal regulations.
• Assess risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
• Skills Required
• Experience: Minimum 8-12 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in an Engineering, Industrial sector.
• Education: Bachelors or Master s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of LC, Inco terms, and financial negotiations.
• Excellent sourcing, vendor Management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in Domestic and International procurement.
• Proficiency in contract management and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Selection of supplier as per the product requirement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹21,164.04 - ₹50,000.00 per month
