Purchase Executive

You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with objectives, considering cost, quality, supplier performance, and risk. Your role will involve formulating and implementing the procurement strategy by developing/modifying strategies for purchases, establishing methods to achieve project targets, and planning funds for procurement and sourcing of materials. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities, and evaluate and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Your tasks will also include assessing vendor performance based on various criteria such as rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, and credit terms. You will identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, lead negotiations for favorable terms and pricing, and optimize value through contract negotiations. Additionally, you will implement and enhance procurement policies and procedures, monitor and analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of cost reduction. In terms of inventory management, you will be responsible for managing operations to ensure optimum inventory levels, preparing MIS reports, work orders of inward/outward logistics, and monitoring incoming materials supplied by vendors. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining documentation related to procurement activities, and providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates. Your role will require you to demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm, manage group or interpersonal conflict, inform/update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner, manage time effectively, possess organizational skills, present ideas and information concisely and organized manner, use problem-solving methodology for decision-making and follow-up, and make calls if necessary.,
