1 Procurement Execution 2 Assist in RM planning and material requirement planning 3 Raise RFQs for standard and non-standard items as per requirements 4 Evaluating quotations and preparing comparison sheets 5 Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure approvals before release 6 Communicate POs and order confirmations to vendors 7 Follow up on timely supply of materials and report delays 8 Vendor Coordination and Development 9 Maintain vendor database and update contact details 10 Assist in vendor development and qualification processes 11 Coordinate with vendors for quality and documentation requirements 12 Conduct preliminary vendor visits and report findings 13 Inventory and Cost Control 14 Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reordering triggers 15 Work with the store and production team to maintain optimal stock levels 16 Follow up on cost reduction initiatives under manager's guidance 17 Compliance and Documentation 18 Ensure proper documentation for all procurement activities 19 Assist in maintaining records for audits and ISO compliance 20 Coordination with Internal Departments 21 Communicate material requirements with production and planning teams 22 Resolve basic procurement issues and escalate major concerns 23 Training & Process Improvement 24 Participate in training programs for procurement processes 25 Support implementation of lean purchasing practices
