Purchase Executive

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Chemical/ Manufacturing/ Paints Industry

Qualification : - Diploma / BE Mechanical

Location - Taloja, Navi Mumbai

Experience -Minimum 2.5years

Position Summary: -Responsible for procurement of plant consumables for Production, HR-Admin, Stores, QC-QA and IT for Taloja & Vikhroli facility under general direction of the Purchase Manager. The person shall execute the purchase order and should adhere to regulatory compliance by maintaining quality systems and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Responsibilities: -

MRO Procurement – Purchasing of plant consumables for Production, HR-Admin, Stores, QC-QA, and IT

Managing procurement of spare parts required for plant maintenance for Engineering and Projects.

Participating in Vendor development and supplier management.

Floating Enquiries to approved vendors.

Making Quote Comparison statements for review.

Follow-up for timely receipt of materials or services.

Coordination with stores for timely GRN of goods received.

Coordination with Engineering stores for management of critical spare items.

Generating monthly transaction details on PR to PO conversions.

Generating Purchase orders for local supplies to approved vendors at negotiated rates.

Performing system related activities in JDE ERP.

Supporting S&OP for timely management of customer orders.

Maintaining uninterrupted supply of material for production.

Follow-ups with vendors for material till material reaches the manufacturing location.

To ensure timely pay-outs of supplier Invoices in coordination with Finance.

Managing replacement/removal of rejected items.

Supporting in making SLAs with approved vendors.

Supporting Internal/External audits to Purchase function.
