Job Description – Purchase Executive

Company: Ajay Air Product Private Limited / Helious Speciality Gases Private Limited
Location: Okhla Phase 1,
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Position: Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
Create and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and negotiated terms.
Maintain updated supplier information, price lists, and delivery schedules.
Track and follow up on material delivery status to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Coordinate with the production, stores, and accounts teams to resolve material shortages, discrepancies, or invoice issues.
Conduct vendor performance evaluations and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Monitor market trends and identify potential vendors to achieve better pricing and quality.
Maintain accurate procurement reports and assist in preparing MIS data.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
Support annual procurement planning and budget preparation.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (manufacturing preferred).
Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
Knowledge of purchase processes, taxation, and basic commercial terms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

New Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
