Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Source and procure bandwidth solutions (e.g., leased lines, MPLS, DIA, ILL, etc.) from multiple ISPs and telco vendors. Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of bandwidth solutions based on business needs and site feasibility reports. Conduct RFQs/RFPs and negotiate commercials, SLAs, and contract terms with service providers. Collaborate with network engineering and IT teams to ensure bandwidth requirements are accurately translated into procurement specs. Track provisioning status and ensure timely delivery of links and services. Maintain database of active bandwidth contracts, utilization, renewal dates, and vendor SLAs. Monitor service levels and assist in resolving vendor performance issues, outages, or SLA violations. Review and verify invoices for accuracy before forwarding to finance for payment. Stay updated with market trends and pricing benchmarks for telecom services. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and documentation requirements. Key Requirements: Education: Graduate in BSC/B.Com/BBA/MBA/M.com/BE/BTECH/ Experience: 1 – 4 years of experience in procurement/Purchase. Skills: Understanding of IP networks, bandwidth types (DIA, MPLS, P2P, broadband, etc.) Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Commercial acumen and familiarity with telecom contract terms Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and procurement or ERP tools Good communication and documentation skills
