Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Purchase Engineer/Executive to join our procurement team at AQ Mechanical & Electrical Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. In this role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end purchasing of electrical components (terminals, connectors, MCBs, cables, etc.) from local and global suppliers, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement: Manage RFQs, vendor negotiations, and PO releases for electrical components.
Supplier Management: Resolve supply, quality, and invoicing issues; evaluate supplier performance.
Technical Alignment: Review vendor quotations against technical/commercial project specs.
Operational Excellence: Track PO deliveries, shipments, and ensure OTD (On-Time Delivery).
Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with suppliers, engineering, and logistics teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: B.E. in Electrical/E&TC
Experience: 4–6 years in procurement/purchasing (Electrical background preferred).
Technical Know-How: Familiarity with locomotive/railway components (terminals, MCBs, cables, etc.).
Languages: Proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Software: Advanced MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word).
