Job Description

Role: Purchasing & Production Control Manager

Responsibilities

Manage all purchasing activities for direct and indirect materials (experience in chemical procurement preferred)
Develop, evaluate, and finalize contracts with new suppliers
Plan and execute cost reduction initiatives
Prepare and manage budgets for purchasing and production control
Create and monitor production schedules; coordinate with other departments
Handle ISO audits and internal audit compliance
Ensure compliance and establish systems to prevent fraud and bribery
Drive digital transformation (DX) initiatives for purchasing and production processes
Utilize SAP for purchasing and production control operations.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in purchasing (medical devices or chemicals preferred)
Hands-on experience in production control within a manufacturing environment
Strong negotiation and cross-functional coordination skills
Experience with ISO and internal audits
Proficiency in SAP
Strong compliance mindset and experience in implementing anti-fraud systems
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational efficiency
Business-level English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in purchasing and production control in the medical device or reagent industry
Knowledge of import/export trade practices
