Public Relations Manager

We are looking for a PR Manager to join our Communications team. The ideal candidate will proactively drive media and influencer engagement to strengthen the organisation’s corporate narrative around the Consumer and Technology ecosystem and help build excitement for the broader platform and innovation community in the country.

• We are seeking a PR Manager with a primary focus on Developer Relations PR, along with support for Corporate PR in India.
• In this role, you will proactively manage media and creator engagement to strengthen narratives around developer investments and innovation — including the impact of developer centres, contributions to the app and digital economy, and standout developer stories highlighting the integration of software and hardware solutions.
• You will help communicate the organisation’s role in supporting developers and fostering innovation across India.
• This role involves working closely with Product PR, Services, Developer Relations, and several other global teams to increase awareness of tools, technologies, and programs that empower the developer community, and to share compelling developer stories from India.
• You will also support corporate storytelling in India, partnering with the corporate PR team to manage reactive news cycles and guide narratives during key media moments and events.
• The role requires strong strategic thinking and flawless execution.

The incumbent will:

• Build and deepen relationships with media, creators, consumers, and developer communities
• Identify emerging platforms and new storytelling opportunities to highlight the developer and app ecosystem in India.
• Provide local insights into media and social trends to inform strategy and enable hyper-local execution. Anticipate and manage issues in a fast-paced news environment.
• You will collaborate closely with local teams to identify and execute opportunities that spotlight the positive impact of developer-centric innovations. The role partners with regional leadership and works closely with global communications teams.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and deliver effective communications tailored to diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to simplify complexity while managing multiple projects.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling story pitches and creative ideas.
• Ability to analyse media coverage and sentiment, anticipate risks, and apply insights strategically.
• Strong collaborative skills, with experience working cross-functionally and demonstrating integrity.
• Retail or consumer-facing PR experience is valuable but not essential.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5–7 years of experience in public relations, PR agency, or corporate communications roles.
• Deep expertise in media relations, with strong media and influencer networks across technology, lifestyle, creative, and developer sectors.
• Demonstrated success in delivering creative corporate PR campaigns with measurable impact.
• Self-motivated, positive team player with a passion for consumer technology.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments; adept at multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
