Role Description

This role requires a dedicated and experienced individual to manage and enhance the public image of the agency's Food and Beverage (F&B) clients through strategic public relations initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the F&B industry, excellent communication and media relations skills.


Responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategies: Create comprehensive PR plans and campaigns tailored to the specific needs and objectives of F&B clients, focusing on increasing brand awareness, driving positive media coverage, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

• Manage media relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with food critics, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media professionals within the F&B sector. 

• Content creation: Develop compelling and engaging content, including press releases, pitches, speeches, articles, and social media posts, aligned with client brand voice and industry trends.

• Crisis communication: Develop and implement effective crisis communication plans to mitigate negative publicity and protect client reputation during challenging situations.

• Event planning and management: Organize and oversee promotional events, product launches, tastings, and other events designed to generate positive media attention and enhance client visibility.

• Reporting and analysis: Monitor media coverage and analyze campaign effectiveness.

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on the F&B industry preferred.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns and media relations initiatives.

• Strong understanding of the F&B industry, including current trends, consumer preferences, and media.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in crisis management and reputation management.

• Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build and maintain relationships with media professionals and influencers.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
