Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced public policy professional to join our Strategic Communication team. This role bridges the gap between policy landscapes and corporate communicationadvising clients on navigating regulatory environments, government stakeholder engagement, and policy-driven narrative building.

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of India's policy ecosystem, regulatory institutions, and the intersection of government affairs with corporate reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategic communication approaches aligned with evolving regulatory and policy landscapes.
• Develop policy-oriented narratives and position papers that support corporate advocacy and reputation objectives.
• Monitor and interpret policy developments across sectors (financial services, infrastructure, technology, energy) and translate implications for client communication strategies.
• Support clients in engaging with regulatory bodies, government stakeholders, and industry associations.
• Partner with the StratComm team on high-stakes mandates involving regulatory scrutiny, compliance transitions, and public affairs.
• Build strategic communication frameworks for clients navigating policy reforms, licensing changes, and sectoral regulations.
• Draft thought leadership content, opinion pieces, and stakeholder briefs on policy matters.
• Conduct stakeholder mapping and develop engagement strategies for government and regulatory audiences.
• Support crisis communication efforts where regulatory or policy dimensions are critical.

Candidate Profile

• 815 years of experience

  in public policy, government relations, regulatory affairs, policy consulting, or public affairs.
• Strong understanding of India's policy-making processes, regulatory institutions (SEBI, RBI, MCA, sector regulators), and government functioning.
• Experience working with or advising corporates, industry bodies, or consulting firms on policy advocacy.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex policy matters into clear, actionable communication strategies.
• Prior exposure to working with CXOs, legal teams, and government affairs functions is preferred.

• A postgraduate degree, public policy degree, law degree, or Ivy League equivalent

  from a reputable institution is desirable.
