We are looking for a Public Policy Research Trainee to work within our research team in producing high-quality research and thought leadership in the social sector. This role is an opportunity to refine your research and analytical skills while contributing to high-impact projects in public policy and social development.
● Assist in conducting secondary research and literature reviews on various topics in public policy.
● Keep track of recent news and updates in domains relevant to the organisation’s work.
● Draft and edit research notes, summaries, and briefs to support blogs, articles, and reports.
● Assist in the design and development of course modules, session plans, and learning materials for leadership programs.
● Use online tools and platforms for project management and knowledge sharing.
● Support the team with additional tasks as needed, contributing wherever required to ensure smooth project execution.
● A self-motivated researcher who takes initiative, learns quickly, and is proactive in problem-solving.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
● A clear and concise writer, capable of synthesizing complex information into actionable insights.
● Familiar with research methods, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
● Genuinely committed to social development and policy advocacy, with a keen interest in Indian Knowledge Systems.
