Pushing for improvements of the legislation by providing support and advice and utilizing the Norms & Standards Specialist to convince Norms & Standard writing committees like BIS, Royal Danish embassy, Border Security Force, MES etc.
Assisting Specification/Sales team with contacts and advice to target influential government bodies like Ministry of Power, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Department of Heavy Industries, Department of Transportation, Defence, railways, PWD, CPWD etc in pushing ROCKWOOL agenda forward based on discussion with team.
Organizing and managing demonstration / reference projects with involvement from the relevant (regulatory) bodies. On a yearly basis to prepare a strategy for influencing directives and standards strategy for influencing laws, building regulations, insurance rules and subsiding arrangements.
Active participation with all potential regulatory bodies’ activities and events to build company’s image and brand awareness.
Organize or coordinate external relations events in partnership with internal and external groups such as Sales, Business Development, marketing & Communication, non-profit organizations, government organizations, design institutes and consultants.
Managing stakeholders by continuous systematic approach/visits and rendering support with white papers, new developments and research, recommendations for better regulations etc.
Keeping his/her knowledge and competences up to date by reading relevant industry literature and attending seminars, training.
Providing market feedback, legislation information and suggestions to the internal organization to be able to pursue new business opportunities.
Managing external relations, including the maintenance of relevant news media relationships, press releases, editorial placement, speaking opportunities and providing supporting materials
Continuously assist, support and push for the regulatory bodies to shorten the transition period for new regulations to be made mandatory
Participate in 3rd party lobby groups where relevant to push for better legislation.
