Job Summary: The Prosthetic & Orthotic Workshop/Camp Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring all activities related to prosthetic and orthotic (P&O) camps and workshop services at Kalyanam Karoti. This includes coordination with medical professionals, technical teams, donors, and beneficiaries to ensure smooth functioning of the program and timely delivery of assistive devices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Camp Planning & Coordination: Identify camp locations in coordination with local authorities, NGOs, and community leaders. Prepare camp schedules, logistics, and ensure availability of staff and equipment. Mobilize beneficiaries by organizing awareness drives in collaboration with field workers. Coordinate with the P&O technicians and workshop staff for device fabrication. 2. Beneficiary Management: Manage registration, documentation, and pre-screening of patients at camps. Maintain records of beneficiaries including assessment forms, device specifications, and feedback. Provide guidance to patients and caregivers regarding usage and maintenance of devices. 3. Technical & Administrative Support: Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure quality and timely production of aids like artificial limbs, calipers, and braces. Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and in good working condition. Maintain inventory and usage reports of raw materials and finished products. 4. Liaison & Reporting: Liaise with partner organizations, funding agencies, and government bodies as required. Prepare and submit monthly reports on camp activities, beneficiary outreach, and device distribution. Collect feedback from patients and stakeholders to improve service delivery. 5. Monitoring & Quality Control: Monitor fabrication, fitting, and alignment of devices to ensure proper fit and comfort for patients. Ensure compliance with disability guidelines and ethical standards. Address post-distribution issues like repairs, adjustments, or replacement of devices. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science / Public Health / Social Work / Management / or relevant discipline. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in disability-related outreach, health camps, or rehabilitation projects. Knowledge of prosthetic & orthotic devices and basic understanding of technical aspects (preferred). Strong organizational and communication skills in Hindi and English. Ability to manage field staff and work collaboratively with medical and technical teams. Computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets). Desirable Attributes: Passion for community service and working with persons with disabilities. Experience in organizing medical or rehabilitation camps in rural/remote areas. Willingness to travel frequently within Uttar Pradesh or nearby regions. Remuneration: As per organizational norms and experience.
