Project Support Engineer

Role Overview: At Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, you will play a key role in collaborating with the factory team to support functions such as Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management. Your efforts will contribute to driving strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Gain a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process in the areas of Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management. - Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to facilitate progress, including coordinating and reviewing test reports from suppliers. - Identify and address system issues by working closely with suppliers and the factory team. - Expedite open orders, manage order acknowledgments, and assist in resolving invoice issues in collaboration with the Factory SCM team and suppliers. - Support the lead Project Manager with tasks related to ongoing projects. - Maintain clear tracking of tasks and issues, providing regular reports to the manager. - Propose and implement improvement ideas within the function. - Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking ownership of actions, demonstrating care for colleagues, and supporting the business. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree with 1-3 years of overall experience. - Prior exposure to the Manufacturing domain/factory environment and experience interacting with global stakeholders, preferably in a multinational corporation. - Basic understanding of various functions in the Manufacturing industry and their core responsibilities. - Proficiency in working with SAP, particularly in PP, MM, or SD module. - Interest in coordination roles and driving tasks and actions effectively.
