Project Support Engineer

As a key member of the team at Hitachi Energy's High Voltage Products special projects, you will collaborate with the factory team to enhance efficiency and quality in functions such as Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management. Your role will involve various responsibilities and opportunities to drive strategic initiatives and make a significant impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gain a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process within Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management functions. - Engage and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to facilitate progress, including coordinating and reviewing test reports from suppliers. - Identify system issues, collaborate with suppliers and the factory to address and resolve them effectively. - Expedite open orders, manage order acknowledgments, and assist in resolving invoice issues with the Factory SCM team and suppliers. - Support the lead Project Manager with tasks related to ongoing projects. - Maintain clear tracking of tasks and issues, providing regular reports to the manager. - Propose and implement improvement ideas within the supported functions. - Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking ownership of actions, demonstrating care for colleagues, and supporting the business. **Qualifications Required:** - Hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree with 1-3 years of overall experience. - Prior exposure to the Manufacturing domain/factory environment and experience interacting with global stakeholders, preferably in a multinational corporation. - Basic understanding of various functions in the Manufacturing industry and their core responsibilities. - Proficiency in working with SAP, particularly in PP, MM, or SD module. - Interest in coordination roles and driving tasks and actions effectively.
