Project Support Engineer

The opportunity: At Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, special projects are being implemented to enhance efficiency and quality. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with the factory team and provide support to essential functions such as Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management to drive strategic initiatives. How you'll make an impact: - Gain a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process within the supported area/function (Quality, SCM, PM). - Engage and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to facilitate progress, which may involve tasks such as coordinating and reviewing test reports from suppliers. - Identify system issues and collaborate with suppliers and the factory to address and resolve them effectively. - Work closely with the Factory SCM team and suppliers to expedite open orders, manage order acknowledgments, and assist in resolving invoice issues. - Assist the lead PM with support tasks related to ongoing projects. - Maintain clear tracking of tasks and issues, providing regular reports to the manager. - Propose and implement improvement ideas within the function. - Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking ownership of actions, demonstrating care for colleagues, and supporting the business. Your background: - Hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree with 1-3 years of overall experience. - Prior exposure to the Manufacturing domain/factory environment and experience interacting with global stakeholders, preferably in a multinational corporation. - Basic understanding of various functions in the Manufacturing industry and their core responsibilities. - Proficiency in working with SAP, particularly in PP, MM, or SD module. - Interest in coordination roles and driving tasks and actions effectively.
