Project Solar / Wind Head / Manager

Position / Job Title (Proposed) Project Solar Head and Project Wind Head Designation DGM/GM/ Sr Manager Function Projects Department Solar Reporting To (Title) Projects Head Location Mumbai (HO) Business Renewable Energy Business 1: The primary objective is to ensure the successful execution of Solar projects from start to Finish & will be responsible for the quality of work, and for keeping a project on time and on budget. 2: Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. 3: He will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. 4: He should have strong organizational skills to ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline. 5: He should have expertise in coordinating resources & resolving any site related issues related w.r.t land & local hindrances. 6: Review the work progress in daily basis & meet contractual condition. Site assessment to determine the land feasibility to set up solar projects & excellent communication skills to connect with workers and create stronger relationships between them, which will help avoid delays in the process of completing each task on time because everyone's working together as one team. 4) Principal Accountabilities Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. • Analyse, manage and mitigate risks. • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. • Interface with the utility and Project Off-Takers on site. Design, Construct and Resource Management Understand the turnkey EPC contract for the solar project and oversee compliance by the EPC contractor on the project site. • Lead the team (Site Engineering, Quality & Safety) to ensure project success. • Coordinate with the project Independent Engineer on-site. Audit and Governance Create and maintain all the documentation of the work for statutory and internal audits. • Provide Site Know-how to the senior management at HO to take right decisions for the long-term success of the organization • Play the pivotal role of champion of organizations standards across all the stakeholders (contractors, external agencies) and protect reputation and brand name. Knowledge management Build and enhance the systems and processes for organizations future success. • Guide new talent and build competencies for the success of organizations success in the business. • Provide technical expertise to land acquisition team to identify the right land parcel for getting maximum output. Should be relocating at project location as per requirements. We should be looking for long term association so candidate age should be in between 35 to 48 years. • Candidate must handled a project site of at least 100 MW in totality. Education and Qualifications BE/BTech (Electrical) Construction management, PMP Certification Work Experience 18-20 yrs. of Solar EPC Technical / Professional Skills Negotiation Skills, Project Planning and Management, Non-Technical / Soft Skills People Management, Time Management, Leadership Quality
