1. Project Planning & Execution Prepare and update detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project/Primavera. Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of each project phase. Identify critical paths and provide early warnings for schedule slippages. Support budget planning and monitor CAPEX utilization.
2. Vendor Finalization & Coordination Coordinate the techno-commercial evaluation and finalization of vendors for mechanical EPC, civil works, and auxiliary equipment. Facilitate procurement and delivery timelines in collaboration with supply chain and procurement teams. Conduct regular vendor meetings and site inspections to track progress.
3. Site Management & Engineering Support Act as the on-site engineering point of contact for mechanical equipment like ball mills, gearboxes, conveyors, and utility systems. Liaise with civil contractors for foundation work, structural alignment, and site readiness. Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
4. Liaison & Regulatory Coordination Coordinate for land approvals, statutory clearances, and local liaison activities. Support documentation and compliance related to plant layout, environment, and utility setup.
5. Reporting & MIS Provide regular project status reports to the Project Manager. Maintain detailed documentation of site activities, contractor performance, and change requests. Flag risk areas proactively and recommend corrective actions.
