Project Manager


Experience - Min. 7+ yrs. in transmission lines.


Responsibilities:

  • Define scope, objectives, and technical specifications for projects.
  • Optimization of route alignment.
  • Assessment and evaluation of crop and land compensation as per the ROW guideline/SOP.
  • Liasoning with Government Authority and Respective Authority of Tower Line, Railway, NHAI, PTCC, Defence & Aviation for statutory proposal submission and clearances.
  • Monitoring of progress on daily basis and take corrective actions for timely completion of project.
  • Preparation of tower line crossing and NHAI crossing.
  • Liasioning with Government/GETCO authority for inspection and verification, STU, for Tower line crossing, NHAI Authority and Railway authority for approval of crossing proposal.
  • To conduct and review the check survey work with deep cross verify the field data for tower placing, providing extension and avoiding immovable asset in the ROW corridor.
  • To ensure work front for the mobilized Foundation, Erection, and Stringing Team.
  • To ensure and review compensation landowner documents, ensuring ownership through administrative officer like Tehsildar and SDM.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly planning respective to the schedule and based on planning preparing manpower and material requirement details.
  • Arranging administrative support wherever if required, while facing severe resistance in execution of transmission line.
  • To review and apply the planning for the respective section.
  • To ensure output as per planning.
  • To provide Daily & Monthly MIS as per management requirement.
  • To ensure Quality as per approved FQP and relevant IS Codes/CBIP manual etc.
  • To ensure implementation of Safety OHS plan.
  • To identify the bottlenecks and their resolutions so as to avoid last minute surprises.
  • To plan timely shutdowns and follow ups for the section.
  • Processing JMCs timely and accurately.
  • Conducting safety and quality programmes at site level for development of their team at regular intervals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
