What you should expect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with 15- 20 years in Civil/Structural design/engineering and project management to oversee the design and execution of heavy Industrial Projects.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the detailed and efficient execution of our projects"”particularly those based in India. You will collaborate with a committed and driven team focused on delivering exceptional results and implementing world-class building solutions. As Project Manager, you will lead major, complex construction projects and drive value across the organization through strategic vision, precise planning, effective resource management, and strong stakeholder engagement. Your leadership will ensure projects are viable, sustainable, and aligned with our broader organizational objectives. You will be accountable for defining the scope of services, appointing external consultants, and leading the on-site Construction Manager. In addition, you will assume full leadership responsibility on other designated projects, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. What we are looking for (academically)
Bachelors degree in civil / Structural Engineering / architecture. Masters in Structural Engineering is a plus. PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus. Advanced diploma / degree in EHS management is a plus. Solid working knowledge of design and project management software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project or Primavera. Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English for business purposes. Open to Travel Who you are
You have a solid grasp of industrial structural systems, including steel, RCC, and pre-engineered buildings as well as MEP topics. You're an exceptional planner and executor, with a knack for keeping projects on track. Your communication and interpersonal skills help you build strong relationships across teams. Youre confident managing multiple stakeholders and skilled at resolving conflicts effectively. You bring a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You have a proven track record of successfully managing project expansions in brownfield facilities.
How you will make an impact
i. Design Coordination
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to thoroughly understand business requirements. Demonstrate the ability to both guide and constructively challenge the customer to ensure the requirements are well-justified and aligned with business objectives. Lead and coordinate the structural design process for industrial buildings (e.g., factories, plants, warehouses and factory offices). Manage design development for corporate/business office interiors including layout planning, finishes, furniture, and services. Review and validate structural drawings, calculations, and specifications. Liaise and coordinate with external architects, design consultants, MEP consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions. Ensure compliance with relevant codes (NBC, state building bye-laws etc.) and internal customer specifications. Manage design revisions and ensure timely delivery of design packages.
ii. Project Management
Plan, schedule, and manage end-to-end project execution from design through construction to successful handover. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate with procurement, construction, quality, EHS and statutory teams to ensure smooth execution. Support Hiring and lead the activities of several subcontractorsdesigner, project management company, general contractor, or built-to-suit developer. Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and optimize resource allocations. Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent is followed during construction. iii. Internal customer & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers regarding design and project updates. Conduct design and progress review meetings with internal customers and consultants. Manage approvals and documentation with statutory authorities as required. Leading the interface towards the landowner or lessor, and local authorities for all statutory permissions and construction topics. iv. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including design reports, minutes of meeting, and progress reports. Ensure project documentation is consistently maintained within internal DMS tools, adhering to organizational standards and established processes. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and internal customers.
