We are looking for a Project Manager to lead delivery operations from our Pune office. This role will be responsible for managing project execution, ensuring high-quality delivery, overseeing the Pune team, and providing clear visibility through regular reporting. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in delivery governance, and the ability to build and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery for multiple projects from the Pune office.
• Plan, track, and manage project execution to meet defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Lead and mentor the Pune-based team, ensuring productivity and alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead Agile teams.
• Manage resourcing, workload allocation, and performance reviews for the Pune delivery team.
• Establish and enforce delivery processes, best practices, and reporting standards.
• Prepare and circulate regular project and delivery status reports for leadership.
• Derive matrix based on status reports.
• Ensure transparency of progress, risks, and mitigation plans through structured reporting.
• Identify risks and delivery challenges early, propose solutions, and drive resolution.
• Act as the escalation point for delivery issues within the Pune office.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align delivery priorities and resource planning.
• Contribute to building a strong delivery culture and office operations in Pune.

Required Skills and Experience

• 812 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years in project or delivery management.
• Proven track record of managing teams and delivery in an IT services or software environment.
• Strong knowledge of delivery management practices, governance, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Excellent people management, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Experience managing distributed teams and multiple parallel projects.

Preferred Skills

• Background in software engineering or technology delivery.
• Exposure to scaling teams and driving process improvements.
• Prior experience in setting up or managing offshore delivery centers desireable
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM are desirable but not mandatory.
