Project Manager

As a Project Manager in the Manufacturing sector, your role involves overseeing all projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and effectively coordinating cross-functional teams. Your strong project planning, documentation, and communication skills will be key in managing interactions with various departments such as Production, Purchase, Store, PPC, Industrial Engineering, and Logistics teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise all ongoing and upcoming manufacturing projects. - Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. - Document project progress, key milestones, and risk mitigation actions. - Coordinate and communicate regularly with: - Production Head for schedules, capacity, and technical issues - Purchase for material procurement and vendor follow-up - Store for inventory management and material availability - PPC Manager for production planning and control alignment - Industrial Engineering Manager for process improvements and efficiency - Logistics Manager for scheduling and coordinating dispatches - QC for inspections, compliance, and quality assurance - Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource utilization. - Prepare regular project status reports and present updates to senior management. - Identify and resolve project bottlenecks or conflicts across departments. - Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. - Drive continuous improvement in project management practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). - 5+ years of experience in project management within the rolling mill industry. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams. - Excellent documentation, planning, and organizational skills. - Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. - Familiarity with ERP/project management tools is an advantage.,
