Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for performing product cost out opportunities in a target-oriented manner through VAVE methodology and cost analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify products for cost reduction VAVE projects and execute them. Your experience with design tools such as DFMEA and Pugh Matrix will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your knowledge of ROI, Pareto analysis, cost-saving calculations, and RCA will be essential in driving cost reduction initiatives. - Perform product cost out opportunities using VAVE methodology and cost analytics - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify products for cost reduction projects - Utilize design tools like DFMEA and Pugh Matrix - Apply knowledge of competitive benchmarking and tear down analysis - Generate ideas to reduce product costs through tear down analysis - Develop test plans and reliability plans - Utilize costing tools and CAD tools such as Apriori, DFMA, Costimator, SolidWorks, CREO, and AutoCAD - Have knowledge of electromechanical parts and their integration - Lead and manage a team to successfully implement cost reduction projects - Act as the single point of contact for the customer regarding product cost out initiatives - Possess basic knowledge of electrical and electronics - 12+ years of experience working with products, sub-parts, and component-level design and development - Strong analytical thinking and strategic planning skills - Proficiency in people management and project management methodologies - Familiarity with DFMA, product costing, and PMI-PMP certification,
