Job Description

Role:

Manage the project delivery with respect to scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications throughout the project life cycle, from Initiation to Closure. Interact with delivery teams, monitor the revision/changes to the baselined deliverables and track accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in Project Proposal activities with Account Management teams, develop project execution plan and Project Charter. Worked on projects which followed models like Waterfall model, Agile, Fixed Cost, Milestone and T&M. Proactively influences customers to apply relevant project-planning methodologies.
  • Work with delivery heads and Client SPOC to freeze and document high level scope, schedule, budget.
  • Re-assess scope against actual development periodically. Keep track of dependencies, validate Assumptions and maintain issue log. Review the same with all Stakeholders of project.
  • Identify, monitor, and respond to risk. Create risk register, assign severity and impact. Facilitate Change Management process from Project conceptualization to testing through project delivery, development & Implementation Management
  • Work on the Change Request part- ensure Changes are reported to relevant stakeholders-involve Account Managements team on the commercials and track towards logical closure.
  • Accountable for documentation of project work packages throughout different stages of project execution-deliverables which will be signed off from users. Ensure proper standards are in place and version changes captured.
  • Coordinate with delivery team in testing activities, UAT and Deployment. Prepare Lessons Learnt document with inputs from key stakeholders.
  • Creates communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders. Set up formal meetings for every important milestone, get the deliverable checked by Quality control team, follow up till that deliverable is signed off.
  • Timesheet management, preparing SOW with intended details. Close watch on Man days for all projects and track them against PO. Liaise with Account Managers on need for PO extension well in advance.
  • Responsible for preparing and assisting with resource utilization, daily status report and forecasting.

Minimum Qualification:

  • B. Tech / B.E. / MCA
  • 4+ years of Project Management Experience
  • Excellent Spoken & Written Experience

Optional:

  • MBA is a Plus
  • Having Experience in Business Intelligence Projects is a Plus.
  • Certification in CAPM or PMP
