Project Manager – ICT Drafting to lead and deliver patent

1. drafting projects in the Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) domain. The role requires
2. a combination of technical expertise, IP knowledge, and project management skills to ensure timely
3. and high-quality client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Draft complete and provisional patent applications including well-defined claim sets.
2.  Review invention disclosures and develop prior art understanding.
3.  Guide team members on drafting standards as per US, EP, and Indian patent laws.
4.  Conduct final quality reviews and ensure client standards are met.
5.  Mentor team members and provide training across technical domains.
6.  Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
7.  Engage in client calls and discussions to align technical deliverables with expectations.

Experience:

1.  5–7 years of experience in patent drafting, with a minimum of 2 years focused on US jurisdiction.
2.  Experience of drafting 50+ patent applications, preferably in the ICT domain.

Skills for Success:

1.  Strong comprehension of technical disclosures and patent publications.
2.  Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3.  High ownership, and accountability.
4.  Ability to manage multiple drafting projects in parallel.

Technical Skills:

1.  In-depth understanding of patent drafting, claims construction, and IP laws.
2.  Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
3.  Knowledge of the latest ICT technologies including VLSI, signal processing, semiconductors.

Qualifications:

 B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, ECE, Signal,EEE.
