Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Thane / Navi Mumbai

Experience: 10-12 Years

An Indian organization operating in the electrical and power infrastructure sector, it specializes in medium- and high-voltage power products and services. Its work includes planning, design, and execution of electrical transmission and distribution projects, serving sectors such as data centres and large electrical installations, while also providing turnkey solutions and maintenance support to ensure reliable power delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/contractors for project execution.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements and allocate tasks accordingly.
  • Budget and Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Track project expenses and ensure projects remain within financial limits.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, issues, and changes.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide clear and concise status reports, and manage expectations.
  • Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Implement and enforce project processes and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts as they arise.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring:

  • Oversee day-to-day project activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Monitor and control project performance, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct project reviews and generate status reports for stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Prepare project status reports and deliver them to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Document lessons learned and apply best practices for future projects.
  • Reports to EPC head in terms of all projects and their commercial and execution health

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
