Job Description

Position: Project Manager

Location: Pune
Experience Level: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Renewable Energy / Hydrogen / Oil and Gas

Position Summary:

We are hiring a Project Manager to manage energy and fuel cell system projects remotely from India, coordinating with U.S. EPC teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and monitor energy infrastructure and fuel cell projects from initiation to closure.
Collaborate cross-functionally with U.S.-based teams in engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning.
Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and risk in alignment with company goals and client expectations.
Lead project meetings, track deliverables, update status reports, and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate issues when necessary.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly project updates to senior leadership across time zones.
Support documentation, change management, and project controls aligned to PMO processes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering; PMP certification preferred.
7–12 years of experience in managing complex engineering or energy infrastructure projects.
Experience working with international project teams, ideally across U.S.–India
Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling software.
Strong understanding of fuel cell, hydrogen, or power generation projects is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup while maintaining consistent communication with the global team.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work 4–6 hours overlapping with U.S. Eastern Time (typically 3 PM – 9 PM IST or similar).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with U.S. clients or projects governed by U.S. codes and standards.
Familiarity with Hydrogen energy systems, electrolysers, or clean energy tech.
Exposure to EPC or modular skid-based engineering projects is advantageous
