Project Manager – Distributor Management System (DMS)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management:
• Plan, execute, and monitor DMS implementation projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
• Sales & Distribution Expertise:
• Map distributor processes to DMS functionalities.
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless integration of DMS with existing workflows.
• Provide guidance on best practices for order management, inventory, and distribution planning.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, vendors, and distributors.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues.
• Ensure vendor deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.
• Change Management & Training:
• Drive adoption of DMS across distributor network.
• Organize training sessions and create user manuals for end-users.
• Manage change requests and ensure smooth transition post-implementation.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:
• 5–8 years in Project Management with at least 2–3 DMS implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Sales & Distribution processes in FMCG, Automotive, or similar industries.
• Technical & Functional Skills:
• Familiarity with leading DMS platforms and ERP integration (SAP SD knowledge preferred).
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and other PM tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple priorities.
