Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager in the field of Electronic Components/Semiconductors in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage project plans, communication strategies, and resource allocation processes. You will be required to analyze both management and technical processes to ensure they are delivered as per expectations. Regular meetings with project stakeholders to define project goals and objectives will be crucial in your role. Leading budget and resource allocation throughout all project phases, scheduling project timelines, and making accurate estimates for budget and schedule will be part of your daily tasks. You will need to generate regular reports to update stakeholders and effectively manage the progress of projects. Establishing and training teams on processes and strategies, overseeing day-to-day technical operations, defining roles and responsibilities, and determining clear deliverables will be essential in ensuring project success. Furthermore, your role will involve researching and evaluating new hardware and software technologies, assisting in cost-benefit analysis for new purchases, and updating/maintaining hardware and software systems as required. Strong leadership qualities, clear communication skills, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and proficiency in computer and math skills will be necessary for this position. Additionally, knowledge of new and established software systems and the ability to train others on them, as well as organizational and time management skills, will play a crucial role in keeping teams and projects on track. Ideally, you should hold a Master's degree in project management or a related technical field, along with project management certification. Several years of professional work experience as a technical project manager, training in project management methodologies, and experience in leading and developing technical teams will be advantageous.
