Project Manager - Agile Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to the Scrum process and ensuring best practices are consistently applied
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Confirm that team activities and ceremonies are effective and contribute to achieving sprint goals
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage and groom the product backlog efficiently
• Ensure completeness and clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria in coordination with Product Owners and Business Analysts
• Eliminate team impediments and resolve external dependencies to ensure uninterrupted progress
• Promote visibility and transparency through updated information radiators like whiteboards and ALM boards
• Engage with external teams to plan and align activities including deployments, UAT phases, and Go-Live support
• Validate adherence to the Definition of Done and maintain delivery standards aligned with quality benchmarks
• Coach and mentor teams to continuously improve their performance and adopt Scrum practices effectively
• Guide individual team members to address areas for improvement and professional growth
• Support business teams in understanding system capabilities and newly delivered features
  

Requirements

• 12- 14 years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master, demonstrating proficiency in agile environments
• Solid working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including practical application in complex projects
• Experience using ALM tools such as Rally or JIRA
• Background in technical environments, preferably in Java/J2EE technology and basic database concepts
• Strong skills in coordination, multitasking, and communication, both verbal and written
  

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAFe frameworks and their implementation
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related workflows
• Domain knowledge or hands-on experience in the payment industry
