Job Description

Project Management Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute NPI/NPD projects from concept to mass production.
Coordinate with R&D, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project success.
Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor material readiness, component availability, and inventory status to support builds.
Collaborate with commodity managers and suppliers for timely procurement.
Support fixture design, testing, and validation activities for new products.
Drive continuous improvement across SMT, PCB, and assembly line processes.
Prepare project reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal reviews.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance throughout the development cycle.
Resolve project issues, risks, and bottlenecks with proactive problem-solving.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
2 - 7 years of experience in
NPI / NPD / Project Management
within electronics or mobile manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of
SMT processes, PCB manufacturing, and assembly line operations
.
Experience in
material planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination
.
Proficiency in project management tools and documentation.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to
mobile phones / consumer electronics manufacturing
.
Experience with
fixture design
, product validation, or testing.
Certification in
Project Management (PMP/Prince2)
is a plus.
