Project Lead

As a Project Lead at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in the Real Estate function by managing construction projects in the Industrial segment. Your responsibilities include: - Working closely with BU segments to understand Real Estate requirements, define project scope, conduct risk assessments, prepare budgets, and timelines in alignment with stakeholder needs. - Managing the design process by translating proposed plans into architectural and engineering designs, evaluating and appointing architects, and detailed engineering consultants. - Conducting vendor evaluation, coordinating tendering processes, preparing techno-commercial evaluations, and onboarding selected vendors. - Leading the execution of construction activities, ensuring compliance with HSE guidelines, and overseeing project completion within agreed schedules. - Reporting progress to internal BU segments and key stakeholders, resolving issues or delays, and addressing customer requirements. - Ensuring proper project closeout, verifying contractors" invoices and claims, and completing project-specific documents for internal customers. - Ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines while upholding Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Your background should include: - University degree/diploma in Civil engineering. - 5+ years of experience in project management/construction management in the Industrial or Infrastructural segment for graduate engineers and 8~10 years for diploma candidates. - Willingness to work in Mysore as the base location, with flexibility to follow Hitachi Energy Real Estate Project Manager's instructions. - High level of integrity, transparency, ownership, and self-responsibility. - Independent working methods with a quick grasp of understanding and learning, along with strong teamwork, reliability, accuracy, and professionalism.
