As a Fire Alarm Project Manager, your role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of fire alarm installation or upgrade projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for fire alarm installations, ensuring timely and on-budget completion. - Leading, scheduling, and supervising fire alarm technicians, providing technical guidance and support. - Ensuring all projects comply with fire safety codes, regulations, and standards. - Collaborating with architects, general contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. - Overseeing procurement of materials and equipment, and managing project finances and resources. - Conducting quality control checks and audits to ensure work meets company and project specifications. - Serving as a point of contact for clients, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for additional services. In order to excel in this role, you are required to have: - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field is often preferred. - A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in fire safety or a related field is typically required. - Strong project management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - A deep understanding of fire safety codes and regulations is mandatory.
