Project Engineer

B. E.in Civil or equivalent

Position Overview

The Civil Engineer will support civil construction activities for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and related infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising site work, ensuring quality, monitoring contractors, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

Supervise civil construction activities such as excavation, PCC, RCC work, shuttering, reinforcement, piping trenches, tanks, and building structures.

Ensure workmanship is as per approved drawings and specifications.

Monitor contractor performance and daily work progress.

2. Drawing & Technical Review

Study and interpret civil drawings, structural drawings, and BOQs.

Ensure proper implementation of design at site.

Prepare AutoCAD for minor modifications if required.

3. Quality Control

Conduct checks for shuttering, reinforcement, concrete mix, curing, and finishing as per QA/QC standards.

Ensure material quality (cement, aggregates, sand, bricks, concrete) meets specifications.

Maintain inspection records and quality reports.

4. Measurement & Documentation

Maintain site records including DPR (Daily Progress Report), material consumption, and labor deployment.

Assist in contractor billing and documentation.

5. Coordination

Coordinate with project team, mechanical team, consultants, and clients for smooth civil execution.

Attend site meetings and resolve civil-related issues.

Coordinate with vendors for timely material supply.

6. Safety Compliance

Ensure site safety protocols are followed.

Monitor safe work practices and report hazards to the project manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

1–2 years’ experience in civil construction for industrial/water treatment projects (STP/ETP/WTP).

Good understanding of RCC, structural work, shuttering, reinforcement, and finishing.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project documentation.

Ability to interpret drawings and manage contractors.

Willingness to travel and stay at project sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
