Job Summary

You will be working as Project Engineer and will be a part of Automation team based in Bhubaneswar, India. In this role you will be responsible for development of PLC logic, HNI Screens, simulating and testing the logic, following quality & testing with check lists, preparing project documentations, writing operator manuals, onsite commissioning & remote support for different long product steel rolling mill automation projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Development of PLC logics 
• Development of HMI Screens
• Support and troubleshooting of PLC software for Automation projects
•  Support for commissioning activities in the plant 
•  Follow up and responsibility for Software incidents and issues occurred in the plants
• Solution definition and validation in alignment with stakeholders
• Collaborating with other developers and engineers to ensure project Success
• Documenting the solutions and changes in the systems according to internal and external requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in PLC Programming : Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell RsLogix 
• Experience in HMI : Aveva Intouch , Siemens Wincc , FactoryTalk
• Field Sensors, Industrial Instrumentation , Network protocols etc.
• Onsite PLC commissioning Experience 
• Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with constant verbal and written communication.
• Travel Requirements: 30-40%

Your background

•  Education: B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation
•  Work Experience: 2-4 years
•  Plant maintenance or project experience in long steel products rolling mills is a plus
•  MS-Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
•  Solution-oriented and forward-looking
•  Good communication skills
