Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage

  project documentation

  , including complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Coordinate with

  cross-functional teams

  (Design, Procurement, Production, and Sales) to ensure seamless execution.
• Track

  project progress

  , identify deviations, and prepare regular status and milestone reports.
• Prepare

  client instruction manuals

  , including BOM, schematics, and testing protocols.
• Assist in

  basic engineering and equipment selection/sizing

  as per application data sheets.
• Handle

  technical communication with clients

  regarding design clarifications, documentation, and order execution.
• Collaborate with

  Sales Engineers

  to prepare technical-commercial proposals, cost sheets, and performance data.
• Suppor

  R&D and continuous improvement

  initiatives for design optimization and cost reduction.
• Prepare

  MIS reports

  on proposal conversion ratios, project status, and departmental performance metrics.
• Ensure

  adherence to quality, safety, and documentation standards

  as per company procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of

  mechanical design principles

  and industrial equipment (pumps, blowers, valves, conveyors, etc.).
• Proficient in

  interpreting engineering drawings

  (2D/3D).
• Good working knowledge of

  MS Office

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent

  communication and coordination

  abilities for client and vendor interaction.
• Team-oriented with a growth mind set and willingness to travel when required.
