Responsibilities

As a senior staff within the Projects department for the Gee Gee group of companies, you will be responsible for the following:

• Execution of work trades including civil, masonry, carpentry, flooring, false ceiling, painting, electrical work, plumbing & sanitary works etc.
• In-charge of all site coordination works
• Preparing method statements and ensuring work is done in accordance with method statement documentation
• Assessing the site condition and preparing a list of work trades required for project completion
• Sourcing, obtaining quotations, tendering and appointment of sub-contractors
• Preparing sub-contract documentation for award of sub-contracts
• Verifying site measurements with drawings
• Preparing of Bill of Quantities for all work trades
• Preparing, monitoring and updating project schedules
• Preparing required material list at site and handle material effectively
• Checking site work status and approving payment requests
• Carrying out Quality Control checks for completed works and attending to defects
• Ensuring safe work procedures and all site staff wear proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Preparing and amending AutoCAD drawings where required
• Coordinating with project consultants – architects, engineers etc.
• Coordinating the handover of completed projects to operations team
• Close communication with Reporting Manger on all work tasks
• Coordinating with HQ staff for finance & admin matters

Experience, Qualification and Desired skills

• 5 years' experience in end-to-end construction projects
• Minimum BE Civil from a reputed college/ university
• Thorough knowledge to read AutoCAD drawings
• Excellent people, labour and time management skills
• Willingness to travel between sites. Two wheeler with license is a must
• Professional communicative approach when dealing with clients

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
