Role Overview

• Semiconductor fab experience is a

  plus but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Maintain

  gas detection and life safety systems (toxic, flammable, or specialty gases)

• Integrate

  gas detectors with FMCS/BMS or SCADA platforms

• Conduct Risk Assessments

  and ensure compliance with safety & environmental standards

• Collaborate

  with cross-functional teams (I&C, Gas, Chemical, Facilities) for commissioning

• Troubleshoot & Maintain

  gas monitoring and control infrastructure

• Prepare

  technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials

• Coordinate

  with vendors & contractors for installation, start-up, and commissioning

• Validate

  system performance post-installation and maintain commissioning records

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech

  in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related fields

• 5–15 years

  in gas monitoring, life safety systems, or utilities
• Experience in

  hazardous gas handling, fire and gas detection, or FMCS/BMS integration

• Knowledge of gas detector brands:

  Dräger, Riken Keiki, Honeywell

• SCADA, PLC, or control systems experience is a

  plus

• Greenfield project, commissioning, or startup experience is

  highly desirable

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of

  hazardous gas protocols & safety regulations

• Ability to

  interpret P&IDs, control logic, and system architecture

• Excellent

  communication, documentation, and training skills
