Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end project execution from order receipt to dispatch, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documents including

  Vendor Document Delivery Schedule (VDDS)

  ,

  Monthly Progress Reports

  , Kick-Off Meeting Minutes, and Project Information Memorandum (PIM).
• Lead and participate in

  internal and client project review meetings

  to report progress, identify risks, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure timely submission of all technical documentation and drawings as per contractual timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams including

  design, production, quality, and procurement

  to expedite deliverables and resolve interdepartmental issues.
• Monitor and track project milestones and proactively address delays.
• Work closely with the quality team to ensure product compliance with customer specifications.
• Guide production teams with respect to technical clarifications, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Act as a liaison with the client for all project-related communication.
• Maintain project records, revision logs, and communication logs systematically.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant project engineering experience in fabrication, industrial equipment, or filtration systems
• Working knowledge of project documentation, timelines, and project lifecycle
• Familiarity with VDDS, PIM, and monthly reporting formats
• Strong coordination and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication documents
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project tracking tools
• Organized, self-motivated, and committed to high-quality project delivery

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling filtration, pressure vessels, or custom-engineered products
• Exposure to ERP or project management software
• Familiarity with quality assurance and inspection processes
• Experience working with key end customers such as

  Reliance, L&T, Thyssenkrupp, Bechtel, Toyo, EIL, NPCIL

  , and other leading EPCs and consultants
